Elzbieta Jarzebowska BS, MS, PhD

Dr. Elzbieta M. Jarze¸bowska received the degrees in mechanical engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland, in 1984 and 1988, respectively.,From 1998 to 1999, she was involved in research projects with the Automotive Research Center and Engineering Research Center for Reconfigurable Machining Systems, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. From 1999 to 2001, she was with Ford Motor Company Research Laboratories, Dearborn, MI. She is currently with the Institute of Aeronautics and Applied Mechanics, Power and Aeronautical Engineering Department, Warsaw University of Technology.

Her current research interests include dynamics of multibody systems, nonlinear control theory of nonholonomic systems, geometric control theory, and robot dynamics and control., Dr. Jarze is a member of the International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (GAMM), the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) Technical Committee of Mechatronics. She is also an Honorary Member of the International Society for Advanced Research in 2006.
