Elizabeth Ziemba Colsen MD

Dr. Colsen is a General Surgeon at the Glacial Ridge Health System. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, preceded by a degree in biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. During med school, she realized she had an aptitude for surgical knowledge and techniques. Dr. Colsen completed her residency at the University of Minnesota followed by fellowship training in minimally invasive procedures, as well as a fellowship in surgical critical care. Her surgical expertise was recently nationally acknowledged during a presentation on hernia repair at the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
