Kaye Gable, MD, is a *hospitalist board certified in pediatrics who serves as the program director and clinical professor of pediatrics. She is passionate about newborn care and Women’s Hospital’s family-centered care and is particularly proud of our Baby-Friendly designation.

Dr. Gable has served in a variety of leadership roles for Cone Health since 1997 including chief of pediatrics (2006-2009), chair of the credentials committee and the professional standards committee, and is a member of the Cone Health Medical Group Executive Committee and the Peds Triad leadership team. She has authored several published pieces for the American Academy of Pediatrics including a toolkit with resources for best practices around care for newborns and a paper about “Current Scope of Practice for Newborn Care in Non-Intensive Hospital Settings”.

She volunteered as a USA Swim Official for years. She is a Boston Red Sox fan because great outfielder Jim Rice is from her hometown and went to her high school. She plays bridge, exercises, and loves to go to the beach to talk to alligators!
