Dr. Elizabeth A Shuster, MD, is the Director of the Electroencephalography (EEG) and Evoked Potential Laboratory, Department of Neurology, and the Assistant Professor of Neurology at the College of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She earned her medical degree and completed a Neurology residency from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN, and a Fellowship as a Senior Clinical Fellow at the EEG Laboratory, Mayo Clinic. She is a past recipient of the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow Award and the Alpha Epsilon Iota Honor Award. She is currently a member of the American EEG Society and the Duval County Medical Society and is a Board Member of the Department of Education Services, College of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. She is currently looking at the effects of aspirin on multiple sclerosis-related fatigues and has published over 50 abstracts and papers on a variety of topics, including multiple sclerosis, inflammatory central nervous system diseases, and white matter disease.
