Dr. Kaye is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. Prior to medical school, she graduated from Harvard University summa cum laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also received the Detur Prize and was a John Harvard Scholar. After receiving her medical degree in 1988, Dr. Kaye trained in the combined Harvard Dermatology Residency Program, where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she was the Director of the Dermatology Resident Outpatient Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital until 1994 when she joined Newton Wellesley Dermatology Associates.

In addition to Dr. Kaye's adult practice, she has a special interest in pediatric dermatology. Dr. Kaye is an attending physician at Boston Children's Hospital. She is board certified in both General and Pediatric Dermatology.

Dr. Kaye is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. She has written and lectures on such topics as pediatric and adolescent dermatology, as well as cutaneous infectious diseases. She is a member of multiple professional societies including the American Academy of Dermatology and the New England Dermatological Society.
