Elaine C. Siegfried MD

Dr. Elaine Siegfried is the Director of Pediatric Dermatology at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the SLUCare Physician Group. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. She is also a Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Dr. Siegfried cares for children with congenital and acquired skin problems and provides surgical and laser treatment. She has conducted multiple clinical trials in atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, acne, hyperhidrosis, and other dermatology-specific disorders.

Dr. Siegfried is involved in many organizations including, the American Board of Dermatology, the Society of Pediatric Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics in the Section of Dermatology. Additionally, she is a scientific advisor for the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasia. She was also recognized as one of the best doctors in Best Doctors Inc. for 22 years in a row, from 1994-2016.
