DONNA SMITH, BSDH, MSEd, RDHAP, is an associate professor of clinical dentistry in the Department of Dental Hygiene at the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She has worked in private practice and academia for more than 40 years, and has lectured both nationally and abroad.
