Doina Ionescu PhD, MBA

Doina has been working with Merck KGaA, as managing director in Romania since 2006. The Romanian subsidiary consists of both pharmaceutical and chemical activities, being a fully fledged commercial entity. Merck Romania was set up 7 years ago and has consistently and considerably developed, primarily through corporate acquisitions (Serono and Millipore), rolled out locally, and local distributors’ business integration. Doina has previously worked in various project management and management roles with Merck KGaA in the UK and Germany.
