Dean SherzaiMD, MAS, MPH, PhD
Dean Sherzai, MD is the Co-Director of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Program at Loma Linda University Medical Center. His research focuses on early diagnosis and intervention in Alzheimer’s disease. As such, he is introducing novel imaging and biomarker tools into the realm of diagnosis at earlier stages of the disease. He is also introducing novel interventions both with regard to pharmaceuticals and comprehensive lifestyle changes that appear to be very effective in altering the course of the disease. Dr. Sherzai received his PhD from Eastern Virginia Medical School, completed his Residency at Georgetown University Hospital, Fellowships at National Institutes of Health and University of California, San Diego Medical Center, and Doctorate at Loma Linda University.
