David Latham Witsell MD, MHS

David Latham Witsell is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and has been at Duke University Medical Center since 1995. He completed additional training in clinical research at the Duke University Medical School in 2000 where he earned his Master’s in Health Sciences for Clinical Research. He is a laryngologist with a complementary practice in general otolaryngology. His research interests are in the development and conduct of patient-oriented research through practice-based research networks (PBRN). Rather than having a disease focus, his passion is the development of research infrastructure and collaborations among thought leaders and community practitioners in otolaryngology.
