David I. Lipton DDS, MS

Dr. Lipton was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1982. He attended the University of Michigan and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Biology. He continued his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.

Dr. Lipton was selected for a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) in Jacksonville, FL where he concentrated on full mouth reconstruction. After he completed his AEGD, Dr. Lipton completed 3 years of an Oral and Maxillofacial residency in Detroit, MI before switching to Periodontics. Dr. Lipton completed his periodontics training at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL. During his third year, he was selected as the chief resident. Dr. Lipton is a published author as well as a national and international speaker. He is the current recipient of the Billy Pennel Award given by the Southern Academy of Periodontics for most outstanding clinical research.
