Daniel Summer Hsia MD

Daniel S. Hsia, MD, is Board Certified in endocrinology and pediatric endocrinology. He specializes in offering care to adolescents and young adults with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Dr. Hsia received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y., and completed his residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He then completed a combined adult and pediatric endocrinology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. It was important for Dr. Hsia to return to Louisiana and to help provide a bridge to those patients transitioning from pediatric to adult care.
