Craig Andrew Shapiro MD

Dr. Shapiro is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory and is the medical director of the antimicrobial stewardship program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He is chief of the infectious disease service at the Scottish Rite campus of Children’s Healthcare and directs the Children’s Physician Group (CPG) infectious diseases clinic at Scottish Rite. He is active in medical student education leading the ID section of the M3 core pediatric curriculum and the M4 pharmacology capstone course. He is also very active in the AAP section on infectious diseases previously serving on the executive committee and multiple subcommittees.
