Christiana Velez BS, RQAP-GLP

Christiana Velez is currently a Program Manager in the Bioresearch Quality and Compliance Department at Janssen (Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson). She has more than 15 years of quality experience working at both CROs and pharmaceutical companies. Her initial experience was obtained as a laboratory technician working in a CRO toxicology laboratory supporting non-GLP and GLP studies. The majority of her time has been spent in quality assurance conducting preclinical and clinical audits, as well as hosting FDA inspections.

She also supports the strategic planning and development of audits, risk-based auditing, and the training of new GLP auditors, and is a subject matter expert for compliance-related issues pertaining to GLPs. She graduated from Delaware Valley College with a B.S. in animal science.
