Christian Apitz MD

Dr. Christian Apitz Is a Research Scientist and Pediatric Cardiologist. Following His Training in Pediatric Cardiology in Tübingen, Germany, He Spent 2 Years at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada as a Clinical Research Fellow. There, He Was Involved in Several Research Projects in the Field of Right Ventricular and Pulmonary Vascular Hemodynamics and Interactions. Dr. Apitz Subsequently Moved Back to Germany Where He Was Appointed as an Associate Professor at the Justus-Liebig-university of Giessen and Worked as a Staff Cardiologist at the Pediatric Heart Center Giessen and Head of the Giessen Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Service. In May 2015 Dr. Apitz Was Appointed as Head of Pediatric Cardiology at the University Children's Hospital Ulm.
