Antonio Zapata PhD

Antonio J. Zapata V. is an organic chemist from Venezuela who obtained his PhD from Northeastern University, Boston, in 1981. He went on to work in the Chemistry Department of Universidad Simon Bolívar in Caracas where he worked from 1981 until 2014. In 1988 he was a visiting professor in the Chemistry Department of University of South Carolina. From September 1996 to 1997 he was a visiting professor at the Chemistry Department of University of Massachusetts (Dartmouth). In June 2014, he moved to Guayaquil and is currently working at the Chemical Engineering Faculty of the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador
