Antonella Gagliano MD

Antonella Gagliano completed her first degree at the University of Messina (Sicily- Italy) in 1995 and her Ph.D. at the University of Naples Federico II. Since 1999, she has been working as Research Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Department of Pediatric Science, University of Messina. In 2011 she moved to the Ninewells’ Hospital and Medical School in Dundee, Scotland. She worked under the supervision of Professor David Coghill at Developmental Research Group for one year. She is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with a particular interest in ADHD, Specific learning disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and psychopharmacology. In 2015 she was promoted to Director of the Child Psychiatry Unit of the Policlinico G. Martino Hospital in Messina. Her current projects are centered on neurodevelopmental disorders, early identification, educational and psychopharmacological treatment.
