Dr. Rhinehart’s practice began as primary care (inpatient and outpatient) initially with 3 doctors and had grown to a practice of five and two FNPs. With the hospitalist movement the practice changed to outpatient only and along with our parent company’s support he opened the Diabetes Care Center (DCC) as its program director and Diabetologist in 2008. In 2010 he helped open the Johnston Memorial Hospital Wound Care Center (WCC) and the hyperbaric oxygen center (where he also serves as the program director and physician) in Abingdon, VA.
