Biography :

Dr. Perron attended Medical School at Dartmouth, where he graduated with honors in 1992. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency training at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident his third year. Following his EM residency, he completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center.

Dr Perron has been a Professor of Emergency Medicine at Maine Medical Center since 2003 and has served as Residency Program Director for the past decade. He has also served as one of the team physicians for the Portland Pirates professional hockey team. He has spoken regionally, nationally, and internationally on neurologic, and orthopedic issues in the Emergency Department, and has published over 175 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and reviews in the emergency medicine and sports medicine literature.
