Dr. Tremblay is originally from Montreal, Quebec, and completed medical school and internal medicine residency at McGill University. He also did a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and additional Interventional Bronchoscopy training at the Cleveland Clinic and in Lille, France. He returned to Canada in 2001 to develop a new Interventional Pulmonary Medicine Centre in Calgary as well as to snowboard in the Canadian Rockies. His current academic focus is on lung cancer screening as well as clinical applications of advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures. He has also led several inpatient COVID-19 therapeutic trials during the pandemic. He is the medical director for the AHS Alberta Lung Cancer Screening Program.
