Translating Science to Clinical Practice

An accredited, evidence-driven educational conference for clinicians seeking to understand how emerging psychedelic therapies may affect their clinical practice.

Join multidisciplinary experts in Denver for two days focused on new and emerging therapies, patient selection, safety, clinical decision-making, and appropriate implementation.

Psychedelics in Clinical Medicine 2027

#PCM2027

Psychedelic medicine is rapidly transitioning from academic research to FDA approval and implementation in the clinic. HCPs increasingly encounter patient inquiries about these medications, and must be equipped to competently respond. Providers, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists and others, must be prepared to answer important questions regarding which patients may benefit, risks and comorbidities, how to safely administer and monitor the drugs, and the role of the multidisciplinary team in optimal patient care. Sessions will also address ethical, regulatory and legal considerations.

Psychedelics in Clinical Medicine 2027 is designed to address questions through a scientific and clinically-focused educational experience. Two days of sessions will prepare targeted attendees—psychiatrists, primary care clinicians, addiction specialists, neurologists, pain specialists, pharmacists, psychologists, nurses, advanced practice professionals, oncology/palliative-care clinicians, and other clinicians—to master this rapidly evolving area of clinical medicine. The intimate and highly interactive format is designed to engage and to facilitate discussions with experts and other clinicians.

Psychedelic medicine is generating extraordinary interest, but clinicians need more than headlines. They need a rigorous understanding of the evidence, the limitations, the safety considerations, and the practical decisions that accompany patient care. This conference is designed to bring those questions into a multidisciplinary clinical forum and help healthcare professionals approach this rapidly evolving field with scientific discipline, appropriate caution, and patient-centered judgment.

What to Expect at
Psychedelics in Clinical Medicine 2027

Advances in Clinical Evidence

Review the current evidence base across major psychedelic and psychedelic-adjacent agents, with clear distinction between mature evidence, emerging signals, and unresolved research questions.

Interactive Clinical Cases

Participate in “Would You Treat?” case conferences that challenge learners to make decisions about screening, risk, medications, referral, and monitoring.

Expert-Led Interpretation

Hear multidisciplinary perspectives from investigators and mainstream clinicians who can place psychedelic research within the broader context of psychiatric, medical, pharmacologic, and health-system care.

Clinical Crossfire

Engage with structured debates around controversial questions such as readiness for mainstream practice, repeat dosing, and the respective roles of drug effect and therapeutic support.

Psychedelic M&M

Learn from complications, near misses, safety failures, medication concerns, boundary risks, and discharge issues through a morbidity-and-mortality style format.

Clinical Readiness Lab

Work through a practical pathway from referral and screening to treatment-day monitoring, discharge, follow-up, documentation, and outcome measurement.
