The following document (these “Terms of Use” or “Terms”) describes the terms under which eMedEvents (also referred to as “the Company” or “we”) offers “Customer” or ”you” access to its services through the eMedEvents website and eMedEvents-branded mobile device applications (the “Site”). The Customer is required to read and accept all of the terms and conditions laid down in this Terms and Conditions (Terms or Agreement), before you use the applications, websites, content, products, and services (Services) made available to you by eMedEvents on the Website. These Terms comprise a binding written agreement between Customer and eMedEvents. eMedEvents may amend these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. If you do not understand or agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or the Services (as defined below).

Event Registration Fees Processing

eMedEvents shall process the collection of Customer’s event registration fees (the “Event Registration Fees”) through the eMedEvents System’s online payments module for the period or events specified. Tickets sold through eMedEvents will be communicated to the SPOC within one hour of the ticket purchase.

eMedEvents shall charge 10% of Event Registration Fees and an additional card processing fee.

Note: any foreign currencies process will be converted to USD daily based on prevailing market rates. eMedEvents shall not be responsible for any fees charged by the customer’s bank for accepting payment from a USD account. eMedEvents shall pay the customer the agreed upon amount within 15 days of the completion of the event.

Customer agrees that eMedEvents may deduct any charges related to chargebacks, reversals or payment disputes (collectively, “chargeback fees”) related to the processing of the Event Registrations Fees from amounts otherwise due to Customer under these Terms, and such chargeback fees shall be deducted. eMedEvents shall charge Customer chargeback handling fee for each chargeback, reversal, or payment dispute arising from the processing of Event Registration Fees hereunder, and all such chargeback handling fees shall be deducted from Customer regardless of the outcome of the chargeback or dispute.


Registrations and Registrants

Customer needs to specify a number of registrants allowed for a given service level and or price. Except for price, which may differ, you agree that registrations incurred beyond the contracted level will be subject to the same terms.

A Registrant is defined as a person registering via a registration process created within the eMedEvents system.


Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall eMedEvents be liable or indemnify to Customer for (i) any damage caused by the Customer’s failure to perform their responsibilities (ii) any claims or demands of Third parties or (iii) any lost profits, loss of business, business interruption, loss of use, lost savings, cost of cover or other consequential, special, incidental, indirect, exemplary or punitive damages of any kind in connection with or arising out of performance or use of the site or services performed hereunder, whether alleged as a breach of contract or tortuous conduct, including negligence, even if eMedEvents has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

eMedEvents disclaims any and all representations and warranties, including any regarding merchantability, fitness for particular purposes, suitability, compliance with laws, quality, or otherwise, with respect to the eMedEvents website.

The eMedEvents maximum liability in respect of any loss or damage suffered by the Customer and arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or for breach of statutory duty or in any other way, shall not exceed the value of the sums paid by the Customer to eMedEvents in relation to this Agreement pursuant to which the relevant loss or damage has arisen.


You are solely responsible for determining which, if any, sales, use, amusement, value added, consumption, excise and other taxes, duties, levies and charges (collectively, "Taxes") apply to your use of the Services and you agree that it is your sole responsibility to, and that you will, collect, remit and report the correct amounts of all such Taxes to the applicable governmental authorities.

The customer acknowledges and agrees that eMedEvents shall have the right to force a refund of any or all tickets at any time, including without limitation if eMedEvents receives complaints from a substantial number (as determined by eMedEvents in its sole discretion) of Users with respect to the applicable event held by the Customer, or eMedEvents determines in its sole discretion that Customer has engaged in any fraudulent activity or made any misrepresentations.
Refunds for tickets shall not be issued to attendees unless the users show or can prove a genuine or valid reason (as determined by eMedEvents in its sole discretion) for the cancellation.

Term and Termination

The “initial term” of this Agreement shall start on dd-mmm-yyyy and shall end on dd-mmm-yyyy. This Agreement shall not be automatically renewed further unless eMedEvents notifies Customer on extending the further lease dates at 1 week prior of the end of the term.



The Terms and the relationship between the Customer and eMedEvents will be governed by the law.

The failure of eMedEvents to act with respect to a breach by the Customer or others does not waive its right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.

Except as otherwise, expressly provided in these Terms, there shall be no third-party beneficiaries to the same. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and eMedEvents and governs the Customer’s use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements between the Customer and eMedEvents with respect to the Website.

Provisions related to liability, indemnification, disclaimers of warranties, intellectual property protections, and protection of Website Content shall survive termination of this agreement.

Connecticut Medical Examining Board

Connecticut Medical Examining Board accepts the credit courses that are accredited by ACCME and awards AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

MD/DO Requirement:

CME Credits Required : 50.00 | Licensing Cycle AMA PRA : 2 Years | Category Credits : 0.00

A minimum of 50 contact hours of qualifying continuing medical education every 2 years commencing on the first date of license renewal;1 contact hour means a minimum of 50 minutes of the continuing education activity once every 6 years.1 CME hour in each of the following topics:

(A) Infectious diseases, including, but not limited to, acquired immune deficiency syndrome and human immunodeficiency virus,
(B) risk management,
(C) sexual assault,
(D) domestic violence,
(E) cultural competency,
(F) behavioral health.

Beginning January 1, 2020, such behavioral health CME must include at least 2 contact hours on diagnosing and treating (i) cognitive conditions, including, but not limited to, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, delirium, related cognitive impairments, and geriatric depression, or (ii) mental health conditions, including, but not limited to, those common to veterans and family members of veterans such as post-traumatic stress, risk of suicide, depression, and grief. OCC/MOC not accepted as a substitute. The commissioner may grant a waiver for not more than 10 contact hours of CME for physicians who:

(1) engage in activities related to the physician’s service as a member of the Connecticut Medical Examining Board,
(2) engage in activities related to the physician’s service as a member of a medical healing panel, or
(3) assist the state Department of Public Health with its duties to board and commissions (described in Ch. 368a. Sec. 10a-14).
