Hellenic Society of Paediatric Dentistry (HSPD)

The Hellenic Pediatric Society is the official body of Greek pediatric dentists. The aim of the Company is to promote pediatric dentistry in Greece and internationally, with scientific and social work. EIA was founded in 1961 and has been awarded for its praise by the Academy of Athens.

The Hellenic Pedagogical Society (EPE) aims to promote Pediatric Dentistry in Greece and internationally with scientific and social work. It was founded in 1961 and has been awarded for her contribution to the EPAIN by the Academy of Athens in 2001.

The Specialty of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the specialty of Pediatrics was created by the need of special treatment of children for their medical needs differentiated from the treatment of adults.

Pediatric Dentistry has changed the direction of dental treatment of young patients, from simple treatment of oral diseases to their prevention and from close care for teeth to caring for the child as a whole.

The aim of Pediatric Dentistry is to provide high quality dental care for children, adolescents and people with disabilities, and to free them from dental fear through a harmonious collaboration with the Pediatric Dentist.

The main objective of the EIA is the valid and documented briefing of special pediatric dentists, dentists and the public on oral health issues of children, adolescents and people with disabilities.
