Mission: • Provide training experiences through workshops, conferences, and supervision and consultation groups • Provide networking opportunities and peer support for professionals interested in psychotherapy and group psychotherapy • Promote social interaction and communication among group psychotherapists • Support members in establishing and leading process oriented psychotherapy groups • Facilitate deeper understandings of our personal and professional selves to enhance our effectiveness in working with groups, individuals and couples • Engage and promote diversity in membership and programs and enhance awareness of issues of diversity and their psychological and societal impacts
