The Austrian Stroke Society (OGSF) was founded in 1998 and is even older than the German Stroke Society (DSG). The OGSF is a member of both the European Stroke Organisation (ESO), and the World Stroke Organization (WSO).
OGSF aim is to promote research in the field of cerebrospinal dysfunction, especially stroke. The research relates to the cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of the stroke.
The purpose is to be achieved by :
• Scientific events on all areas of stroke
• Examination of scientific projects on eligibility
• support for research in the field of stroke
