Description:
The overall goal of this activity is to provide an overview of podiatry and IR's respective roles in the management of the peripheral arterial disease. This course is designed to review, in a case-based format, the workup and medical management of PAD from the IR and podiatrist perspective. This inter-disciplinary webinar is also meant to provide IRs with a better understanding of podiatrists role in managing PAD, providing podiatrists with a better understanding of IRs role in PAD and ways to bridge the gap between both specialties in an effort to maximize patient access to appropriate care.

This activity is intended for interventional radiologists and trainees at all levels with a special interest in PAD.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of participating in this activity, the learner should be able to:
• Identify the appropriate medical management of PAD
• State the appropriate interventional treatment options for PAD
• Apply their knowledge of IR and podiatry's role in the management of PAD towards appropriate medical decisions.
