Pediatric Asthma Part II: Guidelines is organized by Physicians Insurance/Experix and will be held during Feb 07, 2017 - Feb 07, 2020.

The target audience for this medical event is Pediatricians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, RNs. Other interested healthcare practitioners are also welcome to participate. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.5 CME credit.

Course Description :

Professional practice guidelines - designed to support the decision-making process in patient care - can augment a practitioner’s experience and knowledge. This monograph details components of asthma guidelines from the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP), which focus on four necessary components of asthma care: assessment and monitoring; education; control of environmental factors and comorbid conditions; and medications.

Conference Objectives are :

Upon completion, participants should be able to: • Summarize the main messages of the EPR-3 asthma guidelines
• Apply best practices for teaching families about asthma and monitoring patients’ care
