Pathophysiological Insights Regarding Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury (from 'Concussion 2018: Updates and Controversies Course') is organized by Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Ltd and will be held from Jun 18, 2018 - Jun 18, 2021.

The target audience for this medical event is physiatrists, neurologists, sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers, physician assistants, physical therapists, and primary care physicians. Residents, fellows, and medical students may also benefit from this activity. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

This course will equip participants with the knowledge to appropriately recognize, diagnose, and manage concussions following current recommendations.

Learning Objectives:
HSS continuing medical education activities are intended to improve the quality of patient care and safety. At the completion of the course, the participant will be able to:
• Report biopsychosocial factors that can be influenced by the head injury and steps to assess these factors. They will address these factors and refer or treat patients as part of the comprehensive care model.
