Description:
The goal of this activity is for participants to be able to determine an evidence-based treatment plan that includes ensuring optimization of statin and non-statin therapies to decrease ASCVD risk. This activity is part of the Modern Lipid Management: The Updated Medicine Cabinet grant project.

Learner Objectives:  
Upon completion of this activity, you should be able to:  
• Review optimization of statin therapy as well as managing statin-associated side effects.   
• Determine the selection, sequencing, and escalation plan for non-statins.   
• Select appropriate patients who would benefit from novel and emerging non-statin therapies.
