Activity Objectives:

Medicinal Cannabis: Health Care Professionals in Cannabis Dispensaries is organized by Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) and will be held from May 31, 2018 - May 31, 2020. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives:
•Explain the role of health care professionals in medicinal cannabis dispensaries
•Describe the typical dispensary interaction between the clinician and the patient
•Discuss the value of clinical data collection and analysis within dispensaries
•Summarize patient education about use of cannabis and methods of administration
•Discuss best practices for recommending medicinal cannabis forms, strains, ratios, dosages in the dispensary
• Describe the working relationship among recommending clinicians, dispensary staff, and patients
