The annual Masters of Pediatric Dermatology Symposium (MOPD) is the second largest and second oldest Pediatric Dermatology meeting in the US. The MOPD is a one-day session, held prior to each year’s South & Beach Symposium. The MOPD Symposium was initially developed 28 years ago to promote and advance education surrounding skin diseases disorders in pediatric age groups, and to foster an exchange of information between physicians and health professionals interested in the field of pediatric dermatology. This activity will allow attendees to learn the latest treatment approaches, protocols, procedures, and tools needed to support children with dermatologic conditions, and ultimately provide better, more personalized care for this specific population of younger patients.
Upon completion of the activity, participants should be better able to:
• Identify recent advances in pediatric atopic dermatitis knowledge and treatment.
• Recognize how advances in pediatric atopic dermatitis may impact patient care.
• Discuss recent research into the treatment of childhood skin infections, most specifically impetigo, molluscum and warts.
Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
