Low Risk, High Success: Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine for Osteoarthritis is organized by the Academy of Integrative Pain Management (AIPM). This Online CME Conference is held from May 01, 2018 - May 01, 2021.

The target audience for this Online medical session is all clinicians who provide the treatment for chronic pain. This CME Conference has been recommended for a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Description:
Osteoarthritis is a prevalent condition, affecting over 30 million adults in the U.S. alone. Inadequate healing of ligament or tendon connective tissue encompassing a joint is maintained by some medical researchers to be the most significant factor in the following development of osteoarthritis. Prolotherapy is a nonsurgical regenerative injection treatment that spurs the healing of joint connective tissue and may also improve cartilage regeneration. It is low risk, with a high success rate. This program discusses the science and studies supporting the three prolotherapy formulas—traditional dextrose, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and bio cellular (stem cell)—and how prolotherapy works to reduce or eliminate pain.

Conference Objectives are :
• Describe the most frequent etiology of osteoarthritis
• Explain what is prolotherapy, its history, and how it has evolved
• Examine the various forms of prolotherapy regenerative medicine and how and why each works to treat joint osteoarthritis

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
