Overview:
Dietitians are required to complete a minimum of one CPEU in ethics during each 5-year recertification cycle. Don’t be bored, be engaged! This one-hour course will go over key concepts in ethics through engaging case studies and stories. You will leave the course with a better understanding of how ethics relates to our field and how you can implement the code of ethics into your practice.

This session meets the RD requirement for a unit of "ETHICS" during a 5 year renewal period.

Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
• Understand ethics and common ethics terminology.
• Describe common ethical issues encountered in the nutrition and dietetics practice.
• Have a better understanding of how to conduct ethical decision making.
