Endoscopic Approach to Hemorrhoids is organized by American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and will be held during May 01, 2006 - Jan 31, 2020.

Target Audience:
Practicing gastrointestinal endoscopists, gastroenterologists, gastroenterology fellow and trainees, medical residents, physician assistants and nurses. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.50 Credit.

This CME activity consists of the ASGE video, Endoscopic Approach to Hemorrhoids, followed by a post-assessment and evaluation.
Internal hemorrhoids are a common problem that afflicts a large proportion of the United States population. Symptomatic hemorrhoids result in nearly 3.5 million physician visits per year at an estimated cost of $500 million. This educational DVD will focus on the safe, effective and well tolerated endoscopic therapy of symptomatic hemorrhoids.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of completing this activity, physicians will be able to:
• Identify anorectal hemorrhoidal anatomy
• Understand the classification of hemorrhoids
• Recognize endoscopic treatment principles and techniques for symptomatic hemorrhoids.
