Craniosacral Therapy: Recognizing the Body-mind Continuum is organized by Northeast Seminars.
Description:
The craniosacral system is a physiological system which profoundly influences the functions of the brain, spinal cord, spinal nerve roots, peripheral nervous system, myofascial system, endocrine system, and immune system. The craniosacral system has only come into our understanding physiologically since 1975. Prior to that, information about the system was fragmented and understood as parts of other systems. In this course we will offer the latest model which is used to explain the craniosacral system. We will present information relative to body-mind integration and other phenomena that have surfaced with the craniosacral system as a starting point. The wide clinical applications of Upledger CranioSacral Therapy and its progeny will be discussed.
