Let's talk about carbohydrate counting. What do our clients need to know? How can we talk to them about carbs in a way that is easy to understand? We'll cover this and more. Also, we'll take a dive into understanding about Glycemic index. We'll talk about the pros and cons of following a glycemic index meal plan closely and how to incorporate the glycemic index into practice and daily use.

Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
• Understand carb counting.
• Understand how to communicate carb counting to clients in a way that empowers them to make decisions.
• Review the Glycemic Index.
• Understand how to apply GI to daily practice.
