Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: A Nursing Perspective Course is organized by Hawaii Nurses Continuing Education (HNCE) and will be held on Nov 05, 2020. This course has been approved for a maximum of 8 contact hours (contact hours for nursing licenses only).

They are all aware of the impact traumatic events can have on the lives of individuals, families, and groups. Research informs us that PTSD impacts fully 10% of all people with women suffering the highest incidence. PTSD can be disabling and can impact anyone at any age including veterans, first responders, health care professionals (yes, nurses), literally anyone who has survived a dangerous event at some point in the past. Join us for this important conversation.
Goals and Objectives:
At the conclusion of Day, the participant shall:
• Identify the signs and symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder, its risk factors, sequelae, and effective interventions to help patients families, and staff achieve control.

This conference is designed for NP’s, RN’s, LPN’s, Pharmacists and other allied health professionals.
