6th Annual Hospitalists Update - Online Series:

Are you a regional hospitalist looking for a quick knowledge update? In this three session program you will learn about a variety of prevalent topics including high flow oxygen, EDKA, and management of acute delirium and dementia.

Sorting Zebras from Horses: Assessing Common Medical Symptoms: When to Worry - Online Series:
Patients often go to their family doctor with seemingly simple or common symptoms. Sometimes the symptoms are benign and lead to a relatively benign diagnosis but in some cases they could be indicative of a more serious or rare diagnosis. How do you sort the horses from the zebras during a busy day in the clinic?

At the end of the program participants will have an enhanced understanding of how to assess common medical symptoms that may lead to a complicated and/or rare diagnosis. New this year, we'll feature a special segment called “Keep Calm & Call the DOM: High-Tech Patient Care Close to Home” to showcase our innovative clinical programs of distinction right here in Kingston.

Primary Care Urology - Online Series:
This four-session series will address topics such as microscopic hematuria & other common urology e-consults, men’s health quick hits, voiding dysfunction & recurrent UTIs, and PSA & early detection of prostate cancer diagnosis.

Lyme Disease - Online Series:
South Eastern Ontario continues to have the highest rates of Lyme in Canada. Join us for the three-session series that will include updates & management errors, Lyme look-alikes and Lyme Disease testing, and Lyme in the pediatric population.

Metamorphosis 2021 - Online Series:
This four-session education program for Nurse Practitioner, Physicians, and Interprofessional Colleagues will tackle current topics that keep you awake at night. From vaping to treatment chronic pain, COPD/CHF to clinical thinking.

31st Annual Therapeutics Day - Online Series:
At the end of this program, participants will be able to cite evidence-based therapies and explain appropriate management around prominent areas of primary care concern.
