2022 Advanced Practice Pediatric Pharmacology  Updates is organized by Seattle Children's Hospital and will be held on Oct 08, 2022.

Course Description:
This highly practical course will provide current information on the most up-to-date best practices for common pediatric pharmacological issues seen in both inpatient pediatrics and outpatient primary care follow-up. The curriculum includes lectures with an opportunity for Q & A to address specific cases and issues with clinical experts.

Course Objectives:
Participants will be able to use best practices to:
• Establish a diagnostic algorithm for approaching pediatric anticoagulation
• Associate appropriate medications with the proper pediatric infections
• Describe the best approach to practicing antimicrobial stewardship and why it is necessary
• Formulate a systematic approach for an infant and their family with neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome (NOWS)
• Establish a systematic approach to ADHD treatment and medication management
• Assess and manage anticoagulation, antimicrobials, neonatal abstinence and ADHD
