Activity Objectives:

Low-Dose Fetal CT in the Prenatal Evaluation of Skeletal Dysplasias and Other Severe Skeletal Abnormalities: Self-Assessment Module is organized by American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and will be held during Apr 23, 2013 - Apr 22, 2019.

The target audience for this medical event is readers of the AJR, radiologists, radiologists-in-training, and other health professionals with an interest in fetal development, including sonographers, obstetricians, and pediatricians. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

Conference Objectives are :
• Self assess and improve his or her awareness of the prevalence of skeletal dysplasias and the number of dysplasias for which the genetic substrate has been elucidated.
• Gain an appreciation of the relative degree of sensitivity of both ultrasound and CT in making specific diagnoses.
• Gain increased awareness of the limitations of each modality.
• Gain knowledge regarding the radiation dose to the developing fetus in a low-dose CT study and how that dose relates to other levels of radiation in the environment as a whole and to which medical personnel are exposed.
