Primary Care: Internal Medicine is organized by CME Seminars and will be held from Feb 13 - 17, 2023 at Hilton Garden Inn St. Pete Beach, St Pete Beach, Florida, united states of America.
Statement of Need:
Clinicians in family medicine, primary care, and internal medicine play a key role in the care of patients. It is critical that they stay up to date on best practices in a variety of disease states, including, but not limited to: Heart failure, treatment of cirrhosis and its complications, diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary embolism, clinical approaches to rheumatology, perimenopause and menopause, breast cancer screening and prevention, cellulitis, crystalline diseases and other conditions commonly seen in practice.
After participating in this activity clinicians should be able to:
• Determine at-risk patients for breast cancer and discuss risk reduction strategies.
• Apply evidence-based approaches to diseases commonly seen in the primary care setting.
• Counsel women about the endocrinologic changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
