Theme: Expanding the Reach of Mindfulness: Science, Practice, Community
A robust body of research supports the benefits of mindfulness practices across multiple populations for a variety of conditions. Mindfulness training appears to play role in prevention, well-being, and optimal performance. Now there is a strong focus in the mindfulness field on adapting existing mindfulness-based interventions for special populations and conditions, as well as increasing access, diversity and inclusion with people of color and underrepresented teachers and students.
