Topics: • Dementia ○ Participants will Evaluate and treat patients with various types of Dementia • Osteoporosis ○ Participants will know the criteria to evaluate for osteoporosis and initiate treatment for the primary prevention of fractures • Hospice and Palliative Care < ○ Participants will be able to join the TEAM process and strategies of both Hospice and Palliative Care, which they can incorporate into their practice • Impaired Healthcare Professionals ○ Participants will recognize Impaired Health Care Professionals and their obligations for reporting. • Common Outpatient Problems in Primary Care ○ Participants master some common conditions that can easily be managed by Primary Care Providers as an outpatient. • Case Studies in Primary Care ○ Participants will analyze some unusual presentations of interesting medical conditions along with some alternative treatments. • Choosing Wisely ○ Participants will identify an International program with a mission of justifying the elimination of some "unnecessary" medical testing and procedures. • Concussion ○ Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to assess patients for a concussion and make appropriate referrals for follow up. • Update on Burns ○ Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to manage acute thermal injury and make appropriate referrals. • Doorway Diagnosis 1 ○ Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to use visual clues in order to establish a differential diagnosis. • Doorway Diagnosis 2 ○ Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to use visual clues in order to establish a differential diagnosis. • How to Read a Head CT ○ Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to assess the findings on a head CT. • Dermdilema ○ Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to utilize the clinical presentation and history to diagnose their disease. • Orthopedic Pitfalls ○ Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to recognize and manage acute orthopedic injuries. Target group: The target group consists of senior residents and junior specialists/consultants with particular interest in the diagnosis and management of patients with pancreatic diseases. Workshop Description: ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) and EDS (European Digestive Society) aim to join forces in the organization of a multidisciplinary course on pancreatic diseases. The participants will learn how diagnosis depends on the structure of the pancreatic lesion, which can be directly visualized on US, CT or MR images and PET. Diagnosis depends also from invasive examinations. The timing of diagnosis has a great influence on possibility of surgical approaces and prognosis. This whorkshop will be invaluable in enabling radiologists to understand the underlying pathology. The multidisciplinary approach is the key to garatee the best diagnostic strategies and patient management.
