Hamburg Cardiovascular Day 2020 / Hamburger Herzkreislauftag 2020 is organized by Wikonect GmbH and will be held on Nov 28, 2020 at Curio Haus, Hamburg, Germany. Course Description: They would like to cordially invite you to the 6th Hamburg Heart Circuit Day. Once again this year, the focus of the event will be on case-related, practice-related topics related to the broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. The diagnosis and treatment of heart failure is increasingly becoming the focus of cardiological care; individually tailored treatment options from the range of medications, devices and interventions bring the symptomatic patient a gain in quality of life. But new forms of care, such as the connection to outpatient heart failure centers with specialized nurses, have now also been established in practice. In the primary and secondary prophylaxis of CHD and pAD, some of the familiar topics of LDL cholesterol, high pressure and diabetes have to be rethought: case studies by the invited experts bridge the gap between current study data and everyday practical life. In stroke prevention, the practical application of NOACs as well as the possible use of interventional procedures (LAA and PFO closure) are still grounds for interesting discussions. The duration and intensity of the inhibition of platelets is also continually being adjusted by new data. In the interventional area, they report exciting new developments in the treatment of CAD, valve therapy and the rapid development in electrophysiology. They look forward to an interesting day with a lively exchange during the meetings but also in direct conversation during the breaks. Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.

28th Annual Congress of DIGAB eV and 15th Ventilation Symposium of DGP eV is organized by Intercongress GmbH and will be held from Jun 10 - 12, 2021 at Congress Center Hamburg (CCH), Hamburg, Germany. Overview: The increasing economization of medicine does not stop at out-of-hospital ventilation. In addition to many other challenges, the shortage of skilled workers in the area of nursing, but increasingly also in medical care, is a central problem. Appropriate answers must be found to the pressing questions in the area of care structures. It is important to develop new and innovative approaches. The annual conference in Hamburg aims to be a platform for providing food for thought and encouraging people to develop new concepts. This requires exchanges, discussions, and controversial discussions. New perspectives cannot be developed through competition and confrontation, but through common approaches and constructive ideas. In this sense, the congress in Hamburg should be a large workshop in which people wrestle, work, and creatively design. As representatives of two subgroups of DIGAB (children and people with spinal cord injury), we want to focus on the content in these areas. Of course, all other areas such as pneumology, intensive care, neurology, rehabilitation and much more will also find their place. Priorities • Living and life forms of long-term ventilation people • Outpatient care structures • Lay and family care • Paraplegia • pediatrics Session formats • Scientific meetings • Free scientific contributions • Journal clubs • Workshops • Idea workshop • Discussion forums • Discussion groups Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
