Hospitalist and Emergency Procedures Course is organized by Hospital Procedures Consultants (HPC) and will be held from Aug 27 - 28, 2022 at Crowne Plaza Seattle Downtown, Seattle, Washington, United States of America.
HPC provides the premier Hospitalist Procedures Live CME courses to teach clinicians how to perform the 20 most common bedside procedures needed to work in the ER, ICU, and hospital wards. We have a proven methodology that has successfully trained over 6,000 physicians and advanced practice providers on how to safely and competently perform these hospital procedures. Students learn the didactics via 17 online modules and then attend a one-day 100% hands-on procedural skills lab training with six instructors.
All students will gain online access to our 19 didactic modules that include all of the lectures and procedural videos for our Hospitalist and Emergency Procedures course. These modules should all be completed prior to your scheduled hands-on skills lab session. As such, you will be able to complete all of the didactic preparation for our course anywhere and anytime and you will be able to review all of the lectures and full-length procedural videos as many times as you would like for a whole year!
After completing the didactic modules, we will invite you to join us for a weekend of simulation-based training in all of these hospital procedures. This is a hands-on, practical skills lab training day with SIX INSTRUCTORS (6:1 student/faculty ratio). Individualized, hands-on training will be provided in the following areas: ultrasound-guided central and peripheral line placements, landmark-guided line placements, ultrasound-guided intraosseous line placings, arterial line placings, intraosseous lines placements, arterial line placements, vascular ultrasounds, chest ultrasounds, spine ultrasounds, limited echocardiography, EAST Exams, RUSH exams. landmark-guided and ultra-guided thoracentesis and paracentesis.
