Description:
The program is intended to improve knowledge and competence in a range of primary care topics. These topics include hypertension, lipid management, and common ENT issues. All topics will be based on evidence-based guidelines gleaned from the literature.

Statement Of Need:
The most common primary care issues are constantly being updated by government and specialty agencies. It can be difficult for primary care physicians to keep up with all the latest guidelines and recommendations. Common primary care issues are complex and physicians and other medical professionals need to have streamlined procedures.

Goal: 
The conference's overall goal is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients in primary care.

Course Objectives in 2022 Course at October Universal Studios:
• Check out the latest hypertension guidelines
• Review and implement current STI/STDs guidelines
• Recognize the changes that have occurred in the management of chest pain presentation
• Read the most current evidence-based guidelines on cancer screening. This includes conflicting recommendations for prostate and lung cancer.
• Discuss the most recent management and diagnosis for diarrhea
• Talk about the management and treatment of GERD and Celiac Disease
• Learn about the most recent management strategies for childhood infections, and how they affect adults.
• Manage common Zoonoses in Private Practice
• Learn about the most recent changes in adult immunization. This includes PCV13, Shingles, and COVID-19 vaccines
