Nuclear Medicine Course (Sep 16 - 17, 2021)
Nuclear Medicine Course is organized by American College of Radiology (ACR) and will be held from Sep 16 - 17, 2021 at American College of Radiology, Reston, Virginia, United States of America.
Earn up to 22.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and 22 SAM Credits.
This two-day course fills the educational gap for radiologists who have not had fellowship training in nuclear medicine and who are interpreting general nuclear medicine studies. Get “hands-on” experience with a case simulator to learn how to accurately perform and interpret a variety of nuclear medicine cases in both routine and challenging scenarios.
This course covers the appropriate use of commonly performed nuclear medicine studies for a variety of disease processes and how to correctly perform and interpret these studies. Protocols for performing nuclear medicine studies and interpretation guidelines for general nuclear medicine studies have evolved and new radiopharmaceuticals require training for correct interpretation.
Program and Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this conference, participants will:
• Learn methods to improve the performance of commonly performed nuclear medicine procedures
• Review normal variants and pitfalls seen in a variety of general nuclear medicine scans
• Learn systematic approaches to better interpret commonly performed nuclear medicine studies
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
