Program Purpose:
A series of topics were selected that are common in the Emergency Department. I will present how to diagnose and manage them appropriately. I will clarify when to work up and when to refer to the specialist. This would enable the practitioner to utilize the resources of the hospital or clinic wisely. The Physician or the Advance Practice Provider that attends the course will be able to navigate this conditions with expertise and will facilitate a smooth transition of care.

Knowing that not all the attendees will be Emergency Physicians, I selected topics that are common and general in nature, for easy understanding, but with severe complications if left untreated or if they go unrecognized by the practitioner. This information will be relevant to all attendees.
