Course Overview:
This course will help you create removable prosthetics that meet your patient’s esthetic concerns while also meeting their functional needs. The incidence of complete and partial edentulism is going to increase as the global population expands and people live longer. To meet this need, the demand for removable prostheses will also increase. This course will review fundamental concepts of removable prosthodontics which have remained constant over the years, while also bringing you up to date on manufacturing techniques and materials which have continued to evolve. Topics covered include diagnosis, clinical processes, troubleshooting complexities, technological opportunities and material selection. Clinicians will acquire the knowledge and skill to apply these concepts in their daily practice. Both days offer hands-on activities. Day one will cover basic concepts as well as principles and practice of record taking and considerations for implants with complete dentures. Day two will offer participants the opportunity to help design a partial, create die casts and prepare models.

Course Objectives:
• Diagnose the patient to help create the appropriate treatment plan for a removable prosthesis
• Recall fundamental principles to fabricate complete and partial dentures
• Recognize the application of digital technology in removable prosthodontics
