Perinatal Mental Health and Psychiatry Training is organized by Pregnancy & Postpartum Support Minnesota (PPSM) and will be held on Apr 17, 2020 at PrairieCare Institute, Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America.
The training is scheduled from 8:00 am- 4:30 pm. Continuing education credits are 7.75 CME’s for $200.00 or 7 CEU’s for $150. Students may purchase a discontinued ticket for $75.00. There are scholarships available.
This Live activity, Perinatal Mental Health, from 05/20/2019 – 04/17/2020, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 7.75 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This training will help you better understand perinatal mental health complications including antenatal/postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD and psychosis. The training will cover riskfactors, symptoms and interventions. It is ideal for mental health professinoals, psychiatric prescribers, OB/GYNs, Midwives and Primary Care Providers.
Introduction to PPSM, Perinatal Mood Disorders, PMAD’s and Partners, Perinatal Loss, Suicide/Infanticide, Therapeutic Interventions, Local Resources, Psychiatric Medications in Pregnancy, Genetic Influences, Hormone Influences and Psychiatric Medications in Lactation.
